Saw VH with Sammy (5150) and DLR with Vai/Sheehan (EEAS) same year at Lakeland Civic Center in Lakeland, FL

I walked out on the VH concert...I just remember being SO disappointed...I was a HUGE Ed fan and couldn't believe what had happened

The DLR show was awesome....Dave was VH in my eyes from that point on....

BTW, Cinderella opened for DLR and I remember them being a really good live band....

Shit, I remember seeing Ratt and Bon Jovi opened for them!!!!

I never saw the show in person but I just downloaded a bootleg video from the show as well as audio and I can't believe how good that show was. The set, the songs, the performance were all a 10. Dave was in top shape physically and vocally. It was amazing to watch on a bootleg, I can imagine what it was like in person.

Dave did the entire show for about 150 on lookers. I was blessed to be there and DLR was a Rock & Roll God!

Well, opening night of the tour was in Birmingham, Alabama. How they managed to find a big enough venue is beyond me
