    Funny story from the ALAE-tour...

    from a nuno bettencourt-site:

    July 2 - They go on their first "arena" tour with David Lee Roth and Cinderella until August. Their last show is made memorable as Paul and Nuno get carried away (literally!) while still playing, Extreme add backup vocals for Cinderella's Shake Me "wearing towels and smiles". The four return on stage during Roth's California Girls wearing dresses and high heels, for more backup vocals. Dave sics security on them thinking some crazy female fans got through...



    why the fuck does a band have "dresses and high heels" in their suitcases???

                                                      I saw that tour on 7/2/91 at Lake Compounce CT and the the next day 7/3/91 at Jones Beach NY. I do not recall anyone coming out for Cinderella or DLR. Maybe Nuno's got his dates confused.
