Prince is an absolute genious on guitar. its all him, he's amazing - he picked up on Hendrix alot like Eddie did, full of feedback and fast picking in the early days, self produces.
Genious. Great lead singer as well, flashy dancer.
I wouldn't feel half bad about him in Van Halen cuz he'd force Ed to really clean up on his chops - which is a strech for some EVH apologists here - but man. I think if Prince were allowed to write fully and unbounded with Alex in Van Halen, it would be a Godsend for Ed.
Prince could do both VH eras and keep em both happy. Somewhat... part of me says all them fat women who want Sammy won't accept it, and neither would the diehard Rothians who can't wait for the JAck juicing in "Mean Street"

Prince is the last great black artist of the 20th century & beyond before all the rap crap because he's a great singer, songwriter, musician & performer in his own right with few equals while I don't think he will become VH's new frontman anytime soon.Comment
