I also find it facsinating that there are the selected few who continue to insist that Dave needs the money .....BUT HOLD ON JUST A SECOND.
Dave's Casino and small club gigs, which I attended and have my Ticket Stubs for proof....charged anywhere from $10.00 - 35.00.
On the other hand, Van Hagar 2004 Tour were being sold as some crazy backstage pass combo for the cheap price of $170.00 per ticket, or something ridiculous. If you had gone to the Van Halen website, these were the tickets that they were selling - same package as what the Rolling Stones were selling.......what was that really all about at such high ticket prices?

It's all good to wax poetic about what Davy Baby 'should' do about his career i.e. regrouping with VH/DLR Band/EEAS Crew, tossing the radio gig, EMT-ing (yeah, some of you bitched about that, too) whatever. The fact is our wants and dreams don't mean SHIT! Noone has a right to determine what's best for David Lee Roth BUT David Lee Roth.
We're a bunch of anonymous motherfuckers on a message board to Dave, nothing more, nothing less. I want the good times to keep rolling too, but it's not my (or your) call or place to demand how he handles his career/life/whatever! Some of you are so caught up in your imagined DLR greatness that you forget that there's a real man involved!
David Lee Roth does NOT belong to us. Let's appreciate him for what he's contributed to the world of music and leave it at that. He'll always be a rock legend, my fellow Rothaholics! Nothing or noone can take that way from him.
