It's always someone elses fault according to the Van Halens: It was all Dave's fault in 1985 and 1996, it was all Sammy's fault in 1996, it was Ed's live-in sound engineers fault in 2000-2003 that nothing got released because he couldn't record Ed properly, it was all Dave and Ted's fault that there were so many covers on Diver Down, it was Ed's mothers fault for telling him he would be a nobody that made Ed drink to excess, it's the fans own fault if they don't want to accept someone other than Dave on vocals...

Guy has accepted zero responsibility for anything, save his guitar playing being the sole reason Van Halen was successful.

Legend has it that Landee was not only the fucker that introduced Ed to Curacao, but was also primarily responsible for ed's near-death ELECTROCUTION!

At this point I think Eugene Landy would be better for Eddie than Donn Landee. He certainly saved Brian Wilson from taking the final trip over the edge, though some of his methods were questionable.

Unfortunately, Dr Landy died the other day, so he's no longer available.
