FREE FM DRAMA Continued...

*Not adding to the drama... just reporting it...
**Dave is in another fabulous mood today.

Dave opened up the show today by welcoming the listeners to the Mark Chernoff Show, starring David Lee Roth. He then apologized for the commercials for the David Lee Roth Show, because the people who are cutting them up are trying to interject energy where there clearly is no energy.

Dave says the best part of his show is reading the commercials. A caller says that this show is horrible and that JV & Elvis should replace Dave. Dave agrees on both accounts. The caller says that Dave is letting down his fans. Dave says that he has no choice because they will fire him. He feels that the caller is absolutely right, that the show is garbage and that they want to make the show as bad as possible so he quits... but he won't quit, because he won't get paid. He also can't quit because he's responsible for a lot of people who moved out here to work on the show.

Dave agrees that the show is garbage but he doesn't care, because he's doing Mark Chernoff's show now. He's just going to read the news and barely care about it. Dave says that Tom Jones' face might fall off. He then reads a few more news stories with no effort, knowledge or excitement. He wonders if he can read the stock prices on the air. Dave says that the show will probably be replaced by JV & Elvis. Dave reads the comics on the air and says he doesn't even want to take calls about his show anymore. Finally, he says that Mark Chernoff is now on the floor and has told Dave to read the news, not the comics. Dave has Hutch read the news and starts snoring while he does. Dave says that he could've had a reality show with the radio show, but CBS said no.

Dave reads a bunch of instant feedback saying how bad the show is. He says that Tom and Mark decided from the very beginning that they didn't like Dave. He believes that they figured they would sabotage the show until he'd run out of steam and then quit. Dave says Mark and Tom are weasels. He says that Mark dresses badly and that he wears the same clothes everyday, including his diapers.

Dave thinks all the stories that he has been given to talk about suck, and they're just boring morning zoo drivel. Dave wonders if there is a website that just produces all the stories for morning radio, because the typical zoo show reads the stories in the same order. Hutch reads another story because Dave is bored. Dave decides to read an email in the middle of Hutch talking and coughs while Hutch reads. Dave says that Mark and Tom will be made fun of by him until the day they die.
