I agree too. Except Dave does give the fans something. He answers questions about VH almost daily. He's done interviews, etc... Eddie is the on in charge of van-halen.com. What a worthless piece of shit site that is. Basically spitting in the face of every fan.

But put the blame where it belongs. Squarely on Eddie Van Halen. Everything is up to him. Reunion, no reuinion, new album, old material, everything. That fucking dick couldn't care less about any of us...until he tries to charge us $80 a ticket again.

Question remains, is it Ed or is it Al pulling Ed's strings?

        Who knows...

How come we never hear from or see Alex? Ed calls into that 2 dorks radio show and there are ocassional Ed sightings. But one never hears about Alex, unless Ed is by his side.

Dave was entertaining today. Go to Free FM and listen to the first hour. Dave was talking about the history of radio and doing some great old time radio DJ impressions. He nailed Wolfgang Jack. Some funny shit. Who says Roth is failing?

In my more bitter moments, I can generally agree with most of these sentiments.

Far as what's happening to Dave with CBS, sucks he's getting treated that way but it's not astonishing: welcome to Corporate America.

I do not want to hear how great a guitar player/musical genius was EVH was when he hasn't become a non-entity since "Right Now." With that said, I can no longer hear how DLR is "the man" or "the stud" when at 50 is kissing Tom Chiuosano and Les Mooves' ass to save his failing radio show. Folks, he's become rock and roll's equivalent to Adam West.

Rue the day they are ever inducted into the RRHoF. Their onstage antics will make Blondie and CCR seem tame in comparison. I am tired of the fans getting treated like garbage with their arrogance and animosity. Amazing that VH and DLR don't even give the press an interview, their fans decent merchandise (please don't tell me that the online site on DLR.com was good,) they don't vary the setlist for years and don't even their fans a decent website, even Thomas Dolby's site has more content and is updated and he's not nearly as relevant or historical in music as VH. The Atomic Punks' site has more stuff. It shows you how little both of them care about us.

EVH and DLR you've done it, you've really done it, you've lost me as a fan. I have a life to live and I simply don't have the time anymore. A reunion at this time, when they are fifty makes it even more pathetic and bittersweet. They are both horrible individuals and deserve everything that happens to them. I love the idea and the message of CVH, though I feel sorry for David Lee Roth and I despise Eddie and Alex Van Halen. I admire you folks on the message boards, you still believe. I wish I could too, but when i hear CVH lately, I just cringe when I think how far they've sunk.

With that said, I'm out...cancel my username. Thank you, but I can't do this anymore.

Well, if we are to take the Ched Rocker's word for it, he said that he made peace with Alex first, and then Alex talked to Eddie, and that's how the "Fleece The Sheep 2004" tour came about.

So it would seem that Alex still has some control over his delusional little brother.

That's the impression I'm under. I don't think Ed's in any condition to make even the most basic day to day decisions unless Alex leads him in a particular direction,,,

I had a different take on that. Alex was just the mediator between the two. More like "Hey Ed, I talked to Sam, he seems to have put the past behind him and seems sorry for what happened. Maybe you should talk to him". I've just always pictured Alex as Ed's bitch. Well, one of them anyways.
