I doubt it will be distributed to Heaven, so that lets Me off the hook.

I offered a bet to the spamsters...including three parts

      a) not every show will be "sold out" (I'm on a good way)

      b) at least one show gets cancelled (already won)

      c) BOII won't reach a million copies

      I will win all three...!

If it's got new Dave tracks on it, I'll buy it.

If it doesn't, I won't even bother downloading it on Kazaa.

If it's got Dave tracks on it then a boycott would be denying Dave deserved income... I'd say you're damned if you buy or damned if you boycott... no win for Dave fans...

I doubt Dave is gonna let the lying dutchmen use any of his tracks since they screwed him over on the reunion.

That sucks. Let's hope they come to their senses long enough to post some Alan Alda quotes or something.

Last time Metal Sludge updated Diamond Dave sales was March 1, 2004 and they were around 12,000 for the US. Worldwide I doubt it broke the 20,000 barrier.

As far as getting the Remasters, I was thinking of that but decided against it. Fuck them. I have DD and 1984 on remaster and honestly I really don't think they're THAT much better to waste my money on.

Damn, probably not enough copies of Diamond Dave in circuation for that to happen. Maybe we'd all have to buy another copy of VH1, but we'd all have to agree on the one title to potentially hit the charts for that week.

It could be a way for Dave and the Army to grab a headline. Let's organize a guerilla marketing campaign to get people onboard.

Anybody up for e-mailing buddies and being a marketing geek to get this done? Would you be in?

                        Warner Bros press release:

"We don't know what the hell happened. Van Halen Best Of, Volume 2 hit the racks and we instead watched Van Halen One from 1978 go to #1 on the album charts this week. An internet group called the David Lee Roth Army is taking responsibility for the sales drive. Fans of Roth are making a statement."
