Y2J says he remembers when he first saw Stuck Mojo open up for Testament in Orlando, Florida's Electric Factory in either '96 or '97, says he heard them play that song ["Not Promised Tomorrow"] & thought it was the best song ever. He says it has a great riff, great vocal & great band, says to keep an eye out for "Southern Born Killers" & says you'll hear some tracks on his show first. He talks about David Lee Roth, says he don't have a segway, was trying to think of a quick 1 & don't even have 1, then says Roth after leaving Van Halen started a solo career, then left that to tour with Sammy Hagar, almost reunited with Van Halen & says he's had a rock road of a career in the last 15 years & says he finally found a home replacing Howard Stern in New York City. He then says Howard went to [impersonates a buzzing sound], says Jericho went to XM 41 Da Boneyard & Howard went to [impersonates the buzzing sound] & says when Howard left, David replaced him & says this was 1 of the most huge radio spots in the world & says replacing Stern don't get much bigger than that & says Diamond Dave got the gig. He says if there's ever a guy that you'd think had the gift of gab & would be able to talk about bulls***, be funny & automatically you'd think of David Lee Roth. He then says David's having some problems, says this DJ gig's not easy, it's hard for some people to pick up & says not everyone can be Howard Stern or Chris Jericho & says David's finding this out. He says apparently the viewship for his show has gone down 90%, says it's weird because people don't watch radio shows & then corrects himself by saying it's not the viewship, but the listenership for his show. He says Stern used to have like 300,000 listeners at any given moment during this show & says David's got 30,000 listeners at any given moment during his show. He says that's not the same thing, says you can listen to Dave talk but says you can't see his assless chaps & says it's not as great as it was when he was in Van Halen. He says Dave's doing his radio show, was doing his "machete sword" routine & says when he's spinning them, you can hear it on the radio & impersonates Dave by saying "HEY, I'M SPINNING THE SWORDS", makes sword swiping sounds but says you don't really see it. He says he himself hasn't gotten into Dave's show, says he's too busy listening to his own show 24/7 & says he's got it piped into his house at all times. He says Dave's really "statterbrained", says Dave talks about stuff & don't know too much of what he's talking about & wonders if Dave's destined to survive long in the radio world. He says if Dave's listening to call him if he needs help, says he's willing to do what he can, says he don't know everything about radio & says he don't think his listenership's been decreased 90% from the "Metal Sludge" radio show that was on Da Boneyard before he was. He says he wants to hear what Dave does best, singing the "boogie rock" singing style, great guitar playing, great showmanship & says say what you want about Dave's DJ abilities but as a rock & roll singer, he's 1 of the best. He says here's proof, does a Roth impression & says "IT'S SHOWTIME BY DAVID LEE ROTH, HEEEYYY! RIGHT HERE ON THE ROCK OF JERICHO".
