    Rank your VH albums

This is my personal list. It has nothing to do with album sales or which album my particular favorite song is on. Just rating the albums entirety. From worst to 1st:

    14 - Balance
13 - Best Of Both Worlds
    12 - Right Here Right Now…Live
    11 - F.U.C.K.
    10 - OU812
    9 - Best Of Vol 1
    8 - 5150
7 - Eat Em’ And Smile
    6 - Diver Down
    5 - Woman & Children First
    4 - VH II

Most of us fans only really care about the DLR-era CVH albums and I genuinely believe that putting CVH and Hagar-era VH albums together on the same list is to put it mildly, absolutely ludicrous..but hey, no disrespect to you for treating all VH albums in entirety..Though only you can explain why EEAS should sneak in there...

      My list almost always goes:

      1.Fair Warning
      2.Women & Children First
      3.VH
      4.VHII
      5.1984
      6.Diver Down
Music is like girlfriends to me; I'm constantly amazed at the choices other dudes make----DLR

Not that I have this whole hatred for Diver Down thing that Eddie seemed to develop going on. In any non Van Halen list, it would be near the top. But this is VAN HALEN we're talking about. Bottoms Up!

I'm surprised no one else has put Best Of Vol 1 on there yet. The 2 new songs were just a tease of what could have been, but quality nonetheless.

Why did I list all VH albums? I listed everthing that is "officially" labeled as Van Halen. As for why EEAS slipped in there. To me personally, and I think with many people on this site, that was the last great CVH album. Other Dave albums were great, but to me didn't sound like CVH anymore.

                          Bump N Grind especially!
That could have been on the Dave version of 5150 if he never left.

After Dave left, it was painfully obvious where the color and fun came from. Eddie is a great musician, but Dave is what seperated him from the rest of the crowd. I think with EEAS, Vai knew he had to sound somewhat like Eddie. Goin' Crazy would have been on the Dave version of 5150. Maybe if they ever get together, rather than write brand new songs, they could just do what would have happened with 5150.
