                Valerie was famouse because she was the cute likable kid on One Day at A Time. I think Eddie marrying Valerie gave her additional press exposure that she normally wouldn't get. She a run of CBS movies for television and then when Lifetime came on cable she did some of those. Val had a better run in television than a lot of child actors do. Val's last attempt for a big gig was being Regis Phylbins sidekick on Regis Live. Kelly Ripa won out. Not that Val couldn't do a good job but Kelly was better eye candy and younger. Val was too old and not cute enough.

                Val basically was the cute girl next door who when she was in her prime, men wanted to plow her beanfield because she was famouse and had a cute face. Not a sex symbol but something cute nextdoor to dump som cum into. You knew Schnider wanted to do exactly that but he just went down to his shitty apartment and cranked one off.
