As I recall, it has something to do with Ed Leffler and the back catalog. I think Sammy discussed it in the biography he sued to stop the publication of (by the way, I remember that for years after the Squealing Poodle stopped the publication of that book he claimed he had his own autobiography coming out -- guess he's still working on it).

And yeah, while it wasn't what I wasn't thinking of it Sammy was indeed a complete and total douche to his wife of many years.
