Dave apparently liked our idea of countrified Van Halen. Some one told him about our band Van Hayride in NYC, he said it sounded cool and he wanted to check us out, a little over a year later, whamo, Strummin' comes out.
We do a weirder more honky tonk thang. It sure does sound great hearing Dave sing it.
