    Dave Tv

If Dave doesn't go to Satellite radio maybe he'll go reality TV.
Anyone up for some Dave TV? What do you think?
Heck, if Ozzy could do it...

Maybe a "bachelor" type of show? Or perhaps an extreme travel show on discovery?

    Would you watch it?

Diamond Dave said back in 2002 that if he had a reality tv show, they'd only need one camera(the camera on him)and they'd have to pixilate a lot mo' out than jus' dog poop.:D

Howard Stern just announced Pay per view Stern.

      He is probably over-extended.

Roth is the ONE fake rocker, with the vague possibility of compbining with ANYBODY at all, for new rock, at all as good as the 1970s+ stuff, that petered out, mid-80s through 1990s.

Roth is also a hang-fire Jew, playing does he or doesn't he get KOSHER, fucking at all! Does he get LIKE KOSHER, needed to elevate Jews above the punk, Judeo-Christian, post 1904 hustle, Jews sneak.

He seems ready to sing JUMP and fly like a Kike who knows how, all night long, bark at Sammy, fail to get a plan, open the hole till flies rush in, lights go out, no more rock!

We used to call that, 'JEW ME TO DEATH, you FAGGOT!'

It'd be too highbrow for the "reality tv" demographic.

See, personally I think that's what was wrong with his radio show. It was too "highbrow".
People relate to Dave as the legendary crazy rock and roller who fronted VH and kicked ass with Vai.
I don't think most of America is ready for Dave to take himself so seriously.
Granted, on this site we only get Roth fans who never say anything against the man win or lose. …loyal followers who take Roth as he is no matter what he does. This site pays tribute to him that way.
Still, most americans (imo) wanted to see DLR as a rock and roll god on the radio, not a serious (not sirius) talk show host with highbrow humor.

I know… opinions are like assholes… and mine stinks just like the rest of 'em...

Call me crazy, but Dave's schtick was always highbrow...the spandex and likker bottle stage props facilitated an "ALL-ACCESS-PASS".

As you eluded to, most of the folks on this board get the fucking inside joke that keeps rolling. As far as the radio debacle?

I remember Dave being asked about how successful the radio gig would be, prior to going on the air. He said something to the effect of, "I left Vegas with the clothes on my back...." I don't recall the rest, but I do remember him laughing HIS ASS OFF @ the end of the speel.

            Personally?

I'd like to see him stick to the ROCK AND ROLL.

I never reaslly thought of that as "highbrow". I thought of it as over the top. Of course I thought it was the coolest!

(wondering if I'm secure enough to wear spandex when I'm on stage)...
