What is this new cd crap??? You have got to be kidding me!
You have actually taken classic VH songs...which still kick ass this very day and you .....friggin blue grass?? WTF is wrong with you Dave??
You go on national tv and bring this crap? I would rather sit at home and listen to all my old VH cd's forever without ever getting anything new from the band instead of listening to the crap you have just spent time and money on!
Anybody who thinks even for one second that this pos might bring the band back together is just nuts......anyone who says well it brings VH back into the public spotlight must be smoking crack! People hear this shit and they laugh thier friggin ass' off! They just sit there and say how Dave and VH have become nothing but a joke these past few years.
I love VH big time...my favorite band.....but this crap is nuts. Bluegrass....and Dave on Leno with that glued on grin hoppin around and yelling Jump! It was a damn circus...a friggin freak show....it was the destruction of what was once a mighty force in Rock. If anyone thinks Dave did the right thing here....well you all are obviously down on your knees in front of Dave right now.

Like it or not, most people have forgotton about VH, except us die-hard fans anyways(and we are getting fewer and fewer). This CD was coming out no matter what. . .Dave just jumped on the bandwagon because it was something different, and he could give his input on. What the hell, at least he's getting media attention again. I think the opposite of your opinion. . .when people hear these tunes it reminds them of what good music CVH put out. .. I think it leads to a higher appreciation. I myself find the new tunes enjoyable, and it has nothing to do with kissin' Dave's ass. I think it's cool to see country music folks appreciate VH also. That's what was so special about classic VH. . .all age groups could appreciate it . . .to quote a wise man. . "There's a little Van Halen in everyone".

Firstly, they are Dave's songs so he can do what he likes with them, no one is forcing you to watch/ listen.

Secondly, we would all rather listen to CVH, but that doesn't mean that we are closed to something different.

Thirdly, Dave always jumped around grinning and yelling, and that's why we love him! No one entertains like him, listen to the audience on Leno.

Fourthly, this is getting a lot of media attention which tells me that most people don't think Dave is a joke....
