Has Dave really got his scream back?

Someone on this website said that they saw Dave live and he is screaming again like he used to in Classic Van Halen. Is this true? I hope it is because I though his voice was finished. Can anybody show some proof of this, besides a two-second sound clip.

I did listen to it, but the sound was horrible. I didn't know what the hell I was listening too. Do you have anything?

Dave's voice would be fine for a VH reunion. The one I'm worried about is Eddie. How can you play with the shakes?

His voice was getting kind of rough around the edges around 1991, but it's been getting stronger with several years of regular roadwork under his belt.

He was letting 'em rip in 1999 and 2002. Same with his stage moves. He doesn't jump and scream as much as he did with classic Van Halen (if it's because he's not able to I can't say), but when he does he executes both just fine.

Roth would be in excellent shape for a VH reunion.

Some boots from the latest Japan tour were better (I mean Dave's voice was better). Dance the Night Away on those recordings was better than I've heard his voice in years. Almost like being in concert back in 1980! His scream was totally classic at the beginning of the song, and it wasn't that 'I've got to hit this really hard so it sounds like I'm having a bowel movement' kind of scream, it was that natural, smooth high pitch he had when he was younger. AHHH, moments of our youth!

Yes his scream is back. It was evident and on full display when Dave found out that Sammy was back in.
