It's cool, but a lilttle sad too. You can already see the decline from the height of his career. That's some second-rate music show and the interviewer's style is less polished than a college TV station reporter; DLR wouldn't have been doing that show a few years earlier.
He's also lost about half his hair but still trying to rock it like he hasn't.
Finally, unlike most of his interviews his answers seem forced and he seems a little uncomfortable. Like he doesn't believe what he's saying.

His interviews for this and the previous tour were virtual "cut n paste" one liners. He had about a dozen bullet points to make for each question. He did the same interview on Much Music the year b4. And that year he did Rockline, the answers were the same. Almost to a "T".
