WAs a great show! Full ROCK SHOW...no strummin w/devil
It did look kinda sad at first...took awhile for people to showup...
By showtime was packed and seemed to be close to soldout.
Did mostly Van Halen. But also did Just a gigilo, Just Like Paradise, and Califormia Girls. Was hoping to hear a few from EEAS.
I think he expects people to just want VH.
ANyway, great show he had lots of energy. You can tell by how many kicks he does. High Kicks a plenty!!
TWo main wardrobes...The Evel Knievil outfits- Blue/white...White/Black.
Dont have any pics, my cam phone is for shit.
He's at Milwaukee summerfest July 1st...
Two shows in a week....NICE.
I just recall fists pumping the whole time during the VH tracks they did. The place was pretty full at showtime and people were loving the setlist. Whenever Dave finished ATBL the crowd chanted for JUMP. Everyone kept yelling Jump, Jump, Jump! They went into 1984 and then Jump. Jimmy Degrasso on drums is a good fill in for Ray Luzier. Dave's voice sounded great. No bluegrass to be had anywhere which was good. They stayed true to the classics with the set. I think people do enjoy hearing the VH once they are at the show. I did notice Yankee Rose was absent from the set, but I won't complain. He was phenomenal. I noted in another thread during Mean Street he left out the JD bit. He did have lots of energy at the show. I agree it was very empty when the opening band Suffrajet was waiting to go on. The band members from Suffrajet stayed for Dave. My girlfriend noticed they were watching and not understanding why the crowd was going nuts for Dave. They had their arms folded. I don't know if it is envy because they won't ever actually headline anything. Yes, there was kicks o' many and he did quite a few of the high ones. No splits off the drum riser unfortunately. I give the show a 10. Check it out if you can!I am the law.Comment

you blow hot and cold dude, you just think of the next thing to piss people off, which strikes me as pretty inept really.
if you stated what you really thought about Dave (you obviously were a fan at some point) people might take your "intelligent commentary" more seriously. The Power Of The Riff Compels MeComment

Someone asked above if there was merchandise for sale. Nota at HOB in Chicago. I checked. Nothing. I too wish Yankee Rose and Goin' Crazy were back in the set. ALAE and Knucklebones would be nice or even some DLR Band material. I still loved the VH heavy set. I will not complain one bit. I loved the show. If I have a chance to go again I will.I am the law.Comment
