Quite unfortunate to see such sloppy play from a man who set the guitar world on it's heels. I love classic VH and would love nothing more than to see DAVE and Ed back on stage together again, but maybe some things are better left alone. I fully realize that it is not 1981 anymore and these guys have just entered their fifties but Aerosmith and the Stones are pulling it off. Hell even Kiss did it for awhile but EVH is in a bad way and what cracks me up is how worried Ed and Al were that Dave did not have the tools anymore. Sorry fellas but DLR has been touring pretty consistently and his recent shows have sounded pretty tight. I don't think Ed would even make it through a mini tour. SAD, TRULY SAD. But he will always have Al telling him how great he is, and it seems these days that is all the former King Of Six Strings needs.Comment

name back into the spot light

The Bottom Line
It's funny, the number of heavy metal songs that actually make really good bluegrass songs. This disc, a bluegrass tribute to Van Halen, is the latest in a staggering variety of such works and it succeeds for a number of reasons, not the least of which is that heavy metal comes from your same basic Americana root as bluegrass and employs a number of similar ideas, themes, and structures. Change a few instruments and the arrangement, and BANG. A seriously fun little disc.
All the sisters can manage is to hop on stage with a Twit!!!! POP-COUNTRY BITCH!!
And they get Props!!!
Not to mention the last ten years of touring and CD and Radio plus
Dave probable made it with a couple babes(Possible i wasn't there)
they may not have been Babes but they were at least Hot!
