        Yep. Out of Eddie's "10 albums worth of material" I'd bet that there's one album's worth of stuff that Dave could actually use and shape into quality songs.

        Hell, even Sammy, working according to the "standards" of Van Hagar 1986-1996 wouldn't get more than 2 records out of it.

        Eddie can't write songs. He never could. He can write some killer riffs, or at least he could, back in the day. But he has no idea what to do with them. That's why VDIII sucked. It's also why the 2004 Van Hagar tracks didn't approach the level of "Humans Being" or "Judgment Day". Sammy was nothing more than a guest vocalist singing over prefabricated tracks on those three pieces of shit. Not even Dave could have saved those songs, as they were.

                eddie can't write songs?!?! that has to be the most idiotic statement i've ever heard...but what can you expect from this fucking moron. i guess your idea of songwriting is the music to seinfeld.
