even if sammy claims that nearly every show was sold out in seconds after the anouncement...I ask you: how many shows of the van hagar tour get cancelled...what do you think?

If they release a kick ass single, I would say they could sell some tickets, maybe even sell out some venues. But if they don't and soon, this whole tour could be in jeoprody very shortly.Comment

I think they're too old to sell new appeal to a new market.
It may cause a ticket boost to old fans that get fired up from something new. I just don't think it would be that signifigant of a factor.Comment

unless they change their sound to more r&b, recruit a guest rapper, change the wardrobe drastically they're not gonna pick up any signifigant number of new fans. maybe a few.

The chicago show sold out in 4 minutes and now they added an extra show.The radio promo plays dave era van halen, that's b.s. I think people just want to see eddie not the spammy version of van halen. They should put a poll on the van halen site asking the fans which version they want to see.Everytime I think I've reached the buttom someone hands me a shovel.Comment

I say if its 100 shows, 94 get cancelled but i'll go a step further and say 95% get cancelled.
What' I'm holding to is that they can't make it past the first 6 Sammy shows without a cancellation or something else drastically changing things.Comment

What is the convenience you get for 9 bucks?
I'd rather go see a movie for that, it used to be once that concerts were priced in a cost ratio 3 to 1 for general admin and 4 or 5 to 1 for a superstar show like Zep.
This sucks. I can now go to a movie for the price they are charging for the ticket printing. some "convenience"Comment
