The fucking crux of it is Roth and his management.

Ray has now left of course.

This has now been aggravated because Brian has taken issue with a post which we can't even fucking find where he says he was criticised unfairly for doing something that was actually done by Dave's previous guitarist Bart Walsh.

Firstly what the fuck are we meant to do delete posts that are bullshit?

Secondly Brian doesn't tell us what post it is or tell us how to respond to it. If you can find this post win a prize, I'll send you a personalised pick from Brian.

So Dave is now telling Brian not to go to our website any more.

Whatever. Dave's the expert that can't even work a fucking browser...

I get the impression that Sarge is very bored with this shit and fed up and we are too. Roth and his management can't even get their fucking act together enough to list their gigs on their official site.

Instead we have people going to Toshi's site trying to work out from the Japanese when the gigs are and then post them. Dave's manager Matt Scienco wanted to shut us down a couple of years back for having bootleg downloads until the band told him to stop being so fucking stupid.

This is the crap we have to deal with on a weekly basis and that's why we're getting sick of this shit.

Sarge and in particular Von were the most insanely hardcore CVH/Roth fans you could ever imagine and even they are sick of dealing with these people.

I could get the DDLR site back up in 30 seconds but at the moment I'm undecided....

the sites are really about the community at this point...

from a conversation I had with Sarge during his Iraq stint...we both talked about how little the site is about Roth...and gone are the days when either one of us had a room full of CVH/Roth shit. Sure...we till have boots and shit like that...but as far as Roth and CVH goes...

things are a lot different...

I actually suggested to him to shut down the site...

and he basically said...fuck that...I'm going to keep it up...

from an e-mail a couple of weeks ago...he basically said the same thing...

Lost interest in Roth...yes...

but for whatever reason...Sarge wants the site up...

So I don't see the site going anywhere anytime soon...

As for all that Sesh was talking about...this site used to have it's bread and butter with all the sister sites...dlrnd...atomic punks...bart walsh and ray luzier when his site first went up...

I mean it's understandable...When I started posting a couple of years ago, I primarily dealt in DLR/ CVH, but after a while how many threads can be started talking about which of the six-pack is everyone's favorite? That's why it's great when something newsworthy comes out of the DLR camp, because you see this place flood with excitement for a few days. But at this point, no one is letting themselves get worked up over another reunion rumour, so we have to take the good from Dave when it comes around.
