i liked it. it sounds like dave. hes not pushing his voice like he did on some tunes later in his career, like black light for instance. very natural range. too bad its not with vh in full rock style.

I saw the program too and Dave was coolI His performance was nice, but his appearance was too short!!

Of course, I prefer the original version like you say, but I like the bluegrass one too 'cause Dave's voice matches that music.

Anyway, I was awfully happy to see Dave on TVI I videotaped it. Thanks to Dave, I couldn't sleep wel last night!!!!

He is singing it without struggling. His vocals are well suited for a VH unplugged. Eddie tearing up an acoustic version of some of these with Dave's current singing.

                  He's drunk alot.

He can find the "9", but the "11" just ain't there.

From that point, it's anybodys guess.

My guess is he wanders down to FIFTY ONE SHITTY in a fit of drunken, misguided RAGE.

After licking a few ashtrays, he gets shocked by the same lamp that Landee almost ELECTROCUTED him with.

THEN, he throws an echoplex switch against the wall and shits himself.

                  HAHAHAHA! It's a stretch.

                    I enjoyed the performance.

I think Dave shows that he is a versatile vocalist with alot of soul.

It wasn't balls to the wall rock but it has integrity. I say well done Dave.

The fact that he is making such an impact performing on these shows says it all.

Hey, At least Dave did a different bluegrass tune this time....I was kinda getting sick of "Jump".
3 Times on TV shows gets boring....but the gals on The View loved him!
Rock On Dave......I know you soon will.

The version of JC is way better than Jump and suits Bluegrass more...

Dave's voice did sound a little tired, but IMO that just adds to the rawness of the music.....
