DLR is in town tonight! Lock up the women and children (okay, just the children - a little eye candy at the show will do quite nicely)!

Of course I have my discounted tix, compliments of Larry Flynt's Hustler Club. Hmmmm......a DLR event promoted by a killer strip club. Coninsidence? I doubt it. I'm beyond pumped for some live CVH! The band rocked the Kahuna last year and I'm looking forward to more of the same tonight. Roth On, motherfuckers!!!

Yeah were here and boozing at some hotel outside of inner harbor watching some euro roth dvd Pac(rothdaddy) made. gonna head down to inner harbor after acouple more drinks. Were drinking some shitty no name beer, cause thats Pacs expertise....

oh my god!!!! best dlr show i've ever seen. and i've seen him 6 other times. his voice was so good i kept looking to see if he was lip synching but he wasn't.

absolutely loved panama, rwtd, b. girls, jump and the best song of the night (which isn't even one of my favorite vh songs) everybody wants some.

animal came on stage, said a few words.

anyone notce when hft first started and byoung started jamming that his strap broke. great recovery as I'm sure this is a guitarist's worst nightmare.

ok off to bed got to work tom, i'll throw some more notes out there tom about people i met nad what not.

i agree, that show tonight at ramshead was amazing. that was the first time ive seend avid lee roth perform, and it incredible. i was dead center front of the stage. two things i didnt like... he wouldnt touch my hand (i didnt expect him to though), and no "yankee rose". besides that, amazing.

a side note.. a very attractive girl 'round my age squeezed her way to the front next to me. we flirted a little and all that jazz but anyways... in the middle of everybody wants some, dave made his booty call and got the chick to touch his balls: fuckin brilliant.

and the story behind "dance the night away" was also awesome. the guy next to me said before the show "i paid for 50 bucks worth of fun tonight, so lets go!" i got my 50 bucks worth and more...

Agreed on the reviews.....Friggin' amazing show! No opening act, no bluegrass versions, just straight jammin' CVH all night long. I was a little concerned that Dave might be dragging a little after playing AC the night before but obviously that wasn't even remotely an issue. Same set pretty much as last year but with "Everybody Wants Some" (agreed, best moment of the show!) in place of "Mean Streets." The on stage booty call was classic. Fucking awesome!

He's still got it, folks! I was thrilled to see him in B'more for my birthday. 3rd time I've seen him solo, and he was dead-on-balls ON last night! Screams, jumps, and the treadmark Roth showmanship are ever-present. His voice was the best I've heard at any of his shows! My brother and I were on cloud 9 with this performance.

I, too, was thinking he might be a little winded from playing AC the night before, but definitely NOT THE CASE! He had the crowd in the palm of his hand from the opening drums of HFT thru his final roundhouse kick on Jump. This is how it's done, folks!

Dave, thank you SO much for the greatest birthday gift! You epitomize rock star and know how to give people the show they want! Keep on rocking! The VH sisters don't know what they're missing.

P.S. Best line of the night: After 2nd song, Dave (to the light tech) barked "leave the fucking stage lights on the rest of the show, Einstein!" Crowd went nuts!

my friend has a digital camera but while we were waiting in line they said no cameras, we were going to hide it but figured it wasnt worth not being allowed in.

ill never forget watching dave hold her hand and put it on his nuts. it was directly in front of me. that girl was feeling me up a little too before all this happened... me and david lee roth were both gropped by the same girl on the same night. what else could any 18 year old ask for?
