Must not be that big of a deal.

Outside of a few radio ads which are chock full of classic Van Halen songs, and the internet, I wouldn't even know they'd reunited.

Have as yet to read one word about it in any print media source or see anything about it on television.

I'm not even hearing any Van Hagar songs on the radio. Not that I'm complaining, but wouldn't you think the classic rock stations would be throwing a few in here and there? We have three such oriented stations where I'm at, and Van Hagar is coming to play here.

In the U.K., there is absolutley nothing on this whole 'reunion'. Without the internet, I'd barely know Sammy Hagar existed.

Also there's never any Van Halen played on the radio here. Jump is occasionally on T.V., but thats all.

The dj's in Baltimore are pro Dave and saying the new stuff sucks. It doesn't seem to be generating excitement around here. Now when KISS reunited in 96 there was a serious buzz in the air. But this tour really isn't a real reunion tour because DLR is not a part of it. ED AL and MIKE have pulled the rug out from under the fans to many times. I personally would rather watch paint dry than subject myself to hearing Sam sing WHERE EAGLES FLY.

Yeah, it's a joke in T.O. too. The DJ's will occasionally play IT'S ABOUT TIME but then they'll open up the phone lines and let fans trash the song and Sam. One guy said, "Oh god, that song sucks. Get Dave back or go away!!!"

I haven't heard anything about the reunion on the Radio.

I don't think anyone accepts this sham as real VH

My thoughts are disappointment and anti-climatic.
One of my friends called and was angry at how bad the songs were.
Then a week later he calls me asking if I wanted to go....

I asked him if he was nuts. I wouldn't pay 15 bucks to be disappointed. If Eddie was doing something different on the guitar I might have begun to consider it. But Sam kills it for me.

I'd offer my thoughts on the subject, but I just wiped and flushed them down the toilet. My bad. :D
