Dave Saving Eddie..

Does anyone here think that Dave has ever or will ever just step in and try to save Ed before it's too late? Obviously Ed & Co, regardless of how they fucked Dave in '96, actually helped him out of his Vegas rut and chose to record with him. Which as we all know led to Dave rocking out again and thus carrying the VH torch. I hope Dave will attempt to help Ed, unless it is already too late. Perhaps I just overanalyze.

Unfortunately, the sisters believe Dave is the one with the problem.

I dunno, Dave has his vices too, but at least he can dress still

dress himself. And I think he is performing better now than he

I agree...But it seems all that is around Ed is yes men, Al included. Dave has never been and never will be...If he believes said reunion is "inevitable" I wonder if this means he is planning to intervene at any time. Eddie used to mesmerize me. Now he just scares the shit out of me.

Just remember that some believed that the world was flat too!

I don't know if its going to happen, but Ed in his current state...there's just no way. Dave would be wise to steer clear of them and release a new album.

Ed is a big boy and i am shure everyone has talked with him..?

I am not privy to the info ........so it's a guess.

I have watched a few of my friends drive off the deep end and
after awhile, i realised you can't stop them, it's just the way it is.

You always think you should have done more, but really nothing can
be done.

Ed may not be as bad as we think maybe he has just lost a step or two and is trying to figure some sh!t out.

A.S. when you mentioned -Dave Vegas -Rut- i have heard some of the Mambo Slammers and the Groove was top notch and i would have loved to see that show and if Dave isn't in VH or doing his solo
stuff i would like to see him do something like that agian.Or release
a DVD or CD of the Music ...

A large Brass section and dancing girls Dave is made for it.

The time Dave started his Vegas show was when Vegas started trying to be a Disneyworld for adults and kids a few years later they
changed thier tune and the town went back to adult only town primarily.

Bad timeing was Daves downfall there not his performance or the music

While I agree with most of what you're saying here, thome, there was a part of me that winced when Dave went Vegas. All the naysayers who didn't get it...when we, the classic fans saw it for what it was: Dave being Dave. Hearing people laugh at an icon that I looked up to for years was like an asshole picking on my best friend. It just made me want to come out fighting...and then he made the Leno appearance and for the first time ever I was actually embarassed...But Dave has bounced back and then some. I hope Ed can do the same.

dave would not only say yes these days for a crumb of publicity, but he probably sucked off jay leno for a few minutes of airtime to do his heehaw soiree a few weeks ago.

My deal with Dave is the -Diamond- I like when he shines, i don't care where.

I see Daves different adventures as just that, some think that he
has gone country, or that he was some geeky band leader in,- lost my career landed in cheesey Vegas .Need help type sh!t.

If he could open in the same Casino 5 nights a week to have the people come to him instead of touring a guy could really
polish a hell of a show up.

I'm shure he needs to tour, get out to the peeps, so to speak.

I don't see any of his incarnations as permanent three or four years in the vegas gig and he would have moved onto something else..

Or he could still be doing it just touring at other times.

We should all write Dave a letter of how we think he should be and when he reads the ten thousands of ideas we could watch his head explode like that dude in Scanners..lol

Well Dave always said that Alex keeps his cash cow close...And although Ed has long been setting himself up to slaughter, Alex doesn't want to create a "beef" with said cow...
