Just an observation here on my part. It seems like the less he runs around the better his voice is. The last time I saw him, he was all over the place and he seemed a little winded when singing, skipping words, throwing in yelps instead, etc.

Here he seems to be just kind of struttin around and throwing a few kicks (and looking quite cool doing so, IMO) and his voice seems stronger than ever.

Maybe no correlation, but it could be part of the improved sound.

I never saw DAVE more relaxed than at the last Orlando show! He was even casual in his Tshirt and sunglasses ... looked like an "old" surfer runnin' around up there! Very impressed this time around!

I was thinking the same thing about the Mobile show. It was far superior to the show I saw in 2003...All in all this was the seventh time I've seen Dave (3 times w/ Halen, 4 solo) and this one ranked up there with the best...Just an overall casual, comfortable show. To say he was "stellar" would be an understatement.

actually, i think alot of the shows i've seen of late suck pretty bad.
this being one of the exceptions, if you think that the, for example, florida show last november was any good then you are the fucking moron, unless you consider pedophile tendencies to be the definition of a stellar performance. cockhead.
