I don't know FORD, there is nothing better than a badass fadeout jam.

Black Dog is another good example.

That said it would be intriging to hear even more of this solo. I have never heard ANYONE mention this solo, and it is OFF THE CHAIN!

If you want to hear producer abuse, check out the Stones album "Got Live if You Want It", man that Andrew looooog oldman was a worthless son of a bitch!

Are you talking about the fact that the two studio tracks "Fortune Teller" and "I've Been Loving You Too Long" were included on the album, with phony crowd noises mixed in?

Under-rated? Comparing to whom? I know which one would be more difficult than others and which ones are more popular... But underated means "by a mass majority of of a larger capacity to which one could compare to".... Rolling Stone magazine? Billboard solo guitar riffs charts?

anyways, by far I think Ed doesnt get too much praise for any work off of VH2... Songs like Light Up the Sky and his harmonics on DTNA are truly over looked by a more poppy solo like panama and jump. (although I believe Jump is Ed's fav solo)

HFT is boring to watch someone play but fun to play yourself. Ed took a basic approach that left nothing to the imagination. Im guessing that this is when the heavy drug use began. :D

Not so much the solo but the lead on Women in Love is fantastic.

Dancin' in the Streets is probably my second favorite and also underrated.

and I still have no clue how he gets that rythmn guitar sound.

Eventhough the song sucks I like Ed's solo on Pleasurdome. Not a Van Hagar fan but I will still give Ed credit for some of his guitar work that was good from that era.
