out for a -guitar position- with -Limpbiscuit- in.... 2003 .

Is this true.?...he was passed over for a guitarist from the band Snot..?

It is Chrissy Hynde and she was never going to sing for Van Halen. Ed got up and jammed with her and the Pretenders once.

Patty Smythe from Scandal is correct. The one big hit they had was "The Warrior". Eddie offered her the job but she refused. I would have bet that the 1st album with her would have gone over as well as VH III. Maybe they would have gotten Dave back in 1987. We should have another 12 albums or so by now. Fuckin' stupid Patty Smythe. It's all her fault.

I feel Patty Smyth is one of the best singers along the lines of
Pat Benatar

Patti Smith would have made a good adddithion to Vah Halen but
the sisters were to -pussie-fried- to pick a chick that can front a
Heavy Rock /Metal band.

I personally like -Dude- singers fronting -Heavy Metal-. I can dig -Chicks-fronting -Heavy Metal- as long as there are other -Chicks- in the band.Seems like a girl needs another to balance her out to me.

If there ever was a Woman i think that could front the greatest
Rock and Roll Band it would be Patti Smith.

With ED's actions as of late i kinda figured he was at fault in the non-
sucsess with Limp Biscuit..lol

I in my life have made a few promises at job interviews and got the job
and then working thier a week or so,, quit because it or the people sukked or the pay wasn't what was said.I felt like sh!t and needed a
bodyguard and a Mac -10 to get my stuff back....

That was years ago. Sass went down and jammed with them, and told Eddie she would love to be in a band with him, but not if the name was "Van Halen"... only Dave could do it.
