I'd love to take the credit, but there is a thread at DDLR.com about this guy......everyone is in awe of how this guy plays and how he did Spanish Fly on this too!

This guy is from a tribute band here in Los Angeles called "ERUPTION". I usually go see the Atomic Punks, but it looks like there is a rising star out there that I need to go check out!

Well, if he's got the people behind him, he might end up being a contender......

On a side note, I'd really like to see Dave hire Nuno Bettencourt.

        That would be interesting, IMO.....

Better than Brian, but Dave doesn't need an Eddie clone...

yep, he's got the sound down.
How much do the Splawn tubes influence the tone?

It's more than just the tubes, but Splawn can build you an amp that's as close to Edward's early tone as possible...

Also, If you send them your Marshall they will make it sound however you want...

I'm about to send them one in a month or so...

I play with more of an Yngwie type tone, but I like what I hear and see on the Splawn website...

                  Nice guys too...

Check out some of the sound clips...

I don't find Coldplay depressing - Alice In Chains is depressing music. Coldplay is too soulless, too vacuous to have the effect of depressing me.

In a sense, that is what U2 have become, although at one point they were a stella band.

Coldplay is music for idiots, who think that listening to it somehow makes them cultured and sensitive.

Now, why did I put a question mark at the end of that?

Coldplay are boring, which make them depressing. There is nothing worse than boring music. If they had great musical ability, they be able to pull it off...but, nope.

No way - it really doesn't matter who Dave has playng for him, he is still THE MAN

Plus, who the fuck listens to reviews?

Are these the same people that tell you that Coldplay is a good band?
