    Holy crap!!

Didn't someone post in the last couple of weeks that Dave was

working on a new album and recording this tour for a live CD or DVD?

I think we all (including me) told him/her to fuck off?

Well, Dave said last night that they were recording the show.

I wonder if Sencio made them erase the tape:D

I remember the posting well, because we received first-hand wind of this news from fellow ROTHARMY-tard "Alexhay". I PM'd him and he is absolutely legit.....he actually works for DLR and worked on DLR Band Album.

Any doubts? Let me know and I'll prove it.

He said that he was taping at the show I was at too. Unless he's doing a "pick the best audience" thing, he was probably just getting the people into it more.

But don't get me wrong, I'll be the first in line to buy whatever he taped.

There were mics on both sides of the stage pointing out to the crowd, so you know they were going for crowd response; however when I saw him it didn't say this for crowd reaction. It was more of a oh yeah...we're recording this show...it wasn't designed for mass hysteria.

Lots of people have said the same thing about him recording.

Let's hope we FINALLY see the product of a live Van Halen concert!

C,mon Dave...give us a break....IT'S DAVE OR THE GRAVE SHEEP MUTHAFUCKAS!!!!!

Yeah, Dave doesn't need to say that to get the crowd going.

He sure as hell didn't need to last night, those fuckers were loud!:D

It looked like there was a small video monitor front and center at the Orlando show, where Dave said the same thing about recording the show...I dunno. Maybe he records all of his performances, or at least videotapes them - the technology is cheap enough now where just about anybody can film and record their own live performance, even a local band, and it can sound and look decent.

It may well have been some bullshit he said to get the crowd going, but wouldn't surprise me either way.

i hope dave does fucking put out a cd/dvd live package. it would definitely be a first for him. i think the reason he hasn't is because he has been holding out for the possibility of a cvh reunion actually happening. I think now he is coming to terms with and accepting the fact that it is not ever going to happen. i think he is done waiting for the bitches to get their shit together. he has finally come to the point of saying fuck it, i'll just go out and do it myself, fuck the sisters, i don't fucking need them.

abviously some of his solo classics will be there, but i hope he does a good blend of cvh between rarities and better known stuff.

i wonder if we here at the army, i know there is a wish list of songs we all wanna hear dave do live, what if we printed it up and gave it to dave
to give him an idea what the fans wanna hear?

                        HURRAH!

Actually, after all the publicity he's had recently, I was thinking that it would be a good time to release a DVD. He's the only one who hasn't done it yet...literally.

I'm hoping for some archieve material as extras as well...fingers crossed.

I would LOVE an extra to be a smaller show were he does lesser known tracks in front of an invited audience (like us?).

And, of course, if Dave has a DVD out, he'll have something to promote in Europe.
