I think its ridiculous to not have Anthony do the recording. I guess its easier for Eddie to tell his kid what to play and replace it himself later anyway than it would be Mike.

Eddie is out of his fucking mind. If he wants to do something with his kid he should go for it. But why is he insisting on fucking up VH by forcing his kid into the mix. Its bullshit and is degrading what is left of the legacy even further. IS he really so fucked in the head/shit faced beyond help / arrogant beyond comprehension / all of the above that he can't see that or care?

Of course we never know what to make of this nor whether any is true. However, I sure as fuck hope we get some new studio recordings. I also hope that Anthony gets to sing on them. I know he did on those rotten last three that Van Hagar did even though he didn't play one fucking note of bass. I don't see why it would be so hard for Ed to go rent a porno or go to the liquor store whilst Dave and Anthony did the backing vocals with a producer? Then all parties would be happy. Ed wouldn't have to lay eyes on Sammy's wife, yet we could still get the vox for the tunes on tape. The n live, give us some hotty backup singers instead of Michael Anthony.

I think Ed doesn't want Mike on tour cos he knows Spam would tag along and eat all of the profits a'la the buffet tables, HA!!!

Well, I hate to play devil's advocate here, but I will not believe ANY of it until I see some proof from the band. There are a couple of people both here and at the vhforums that are capable of pulling of a real big hoax by getting something started that sounds legible and then another "in the know" guy comes along and supports the first guy and on and on. Funny how aliases seem to support each other that way. Time will tell. Don't be surprised though if this WHOLE thing is a hoax.

Its NOT rediculous to not have Mike on the recordings. Rediculous that he might not tour, but not as far as recordings.

Mike hasn't played and sang on ANY VH related songs in ten years. FACT! (Everyone knows he had nothing to do with the 2004 Hagar songs, but he still did the tour).

The band I'm in just did show for 4000 to 5000 SCREAMING BUCKEYE FANS this morning.

...So I'm talking to one the Radio station disc jockeye's.

He's a Huge VH fan.

He knows all this stuff too .... without me bringing it up.

We just got in a big CVH discussion @ 7 am.

So he goes up on stage

Anounces to the crowd another band that was coming on next.

Looks at me ...smiles..

HOLDS UP HIS BEER AND TELLS THE CROWD

HOWEVER.

If we got all this news with nothing else, I wouldn't believe it.

But not long after The Guy first posted the news about Wolfie and Dave, in chimed Andrew (Melodicrock) with his own story (and he was dead on about the Van Hagar 04 reunion before the official announcement)....

and then to top that off, we even got confirmation from Eddie's girlfriend/publicist on Wolfie, complete with direct quotes.

We KNOW for a fact that SOMETHING is brewing and its all going to come out sooner or later.

I really believe that Eddie tried to sell a tour with Dave with Wolfie on bass but promoters didn't go for it. So, Ed had to swallow his pride and bring in Mike (with some persuasiveness from Dave no doubt -- and from some sources Sam himself).

As far as new music, Wolfie seems to be playing bass on those -- while the background vox are handled by someone else.
