You must be listening to a "Soft Rock" station to play that crap. It's the stuff they play in your local dentist office.

It's time to change the station to Classic ROCK

It doesn't get much airtime in DETROIT at all....

probably 99% DAVID LEE ROTH & VAN HALEN to 1% Van hagar.......

I know...1% is too much for anybody to take......

            Another insider.......................From vhlinks...

            VAN FAN-TASIC NEWS!?!

            --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hey all... I had to add the "5150" onto my user name since my old account somehow got squashed after this site went through all of those technical changes awhile ago. Anyway, those of you who remember me from the time that the rumors started flowing about the 2004 Sammy/VH reunion know that I was pretty much on point with all of the info that I wrote here (i.e. first to tell you all that the 2004 kickoff tour date was in Greensboro NC, first person to post the audio link to "It's About Time," etc), so hopefully you'll believe me this time around as well. Now onto business...

Things are looking pretty good for the Dave reunion. It's really just a matter of how much of a money split that Dave would get for the tour (most likely to happen this coming summer if all comes together). We already know that Ed is down with Dave rejoining the band, and Dave has been quoted positively numerous times about a reunion as well, so that's definitely not the problem. If both sides (read: lawyers) can come up with a fair agreement, all systems should be a go. And what about Mikey you ask? Unless Mikey has changed his name to "Wolfie" and cut down his age down to 15 years old, don't count on him to be on stage with Ed, Dave, and Al if this tour does happen. Mike nearly wasn't a part of the 2004 reunion tour because Ed didn't approve of his continuing relationship with Sammy ever since Sam was booted in 1996 (not to mention not wanting to give Mike the money cut he deserved for that tour), so now with Sam out of the VH picture completely, Mike can officially be considered a Wabo.

As far as the Hall Of Fame induction goes, you should plan on celebrating soon. It will be THE highlight of the night obviously. Not sure if they would actually perform together, it's probably a little too early for that, but they (Dave, Ed, Al) would be there in person to accept the induction for sure. Remember that Sammy would not be a part of this induction anyway since his first album with VH was released in 1986, and you all know that a "band" can't be inducted until 25 years after their debut album (hmm, maybe the academy was confused and thought that "Fair Warning" was their debut? ). And sadly enough, Mike probably wouldn't attend for obvious reasons.

              From melodicrock.com

It seems Azoff might step back from managing the band now, but is still very much involved in the tour set up. They might officially be dubbed the tour promoter.

Everything else is still in the works, but I am yet to hear of any possible new material.

Azoff were behind getting this show on the road, but it seems there might be a change of mgmt by Eddie & co.

So, in light of the work put in to date arranging and shopping the tour, Azoff will remain as the principle behind the tour. Details still pretty fluid, so stay tuned.....

This would be fine with me since I think as well as a lot of you will agree that Sammy Hagar was a class B rock star before he entered the Halen picture. He doesn't deserve to be there. Mikey does though and it's a shame if he does not join them.

Azoff side-stepping the VH project couldn't possibly for reasons involving Ed's new Porn-experienced Publicist? Is Ed grabbing another promoter from the Porn Industry on the recommendations of Janie?

A lot of the Hagar and Van Hagar fans at vhlinks live in Canada. These are the same group of nuts who think Sammy Hagar made Van Halen better.

                                Azoff still manages Spammy.

That in itself is a reason for Azoff to step back a little from further VH involvement (since Hagar is not involved anymore).
