    That whole album's music just sounded weird. Off beat and kinda jumpy. Ed said in an interview on Rockline that it was the first time he wrote the music to the singer's lyrics. So Gary wrote what he wanted to sing and Eddie wrote music around that. Now we know why most bands don't do it that way. Write a good piece and have the vocalist figure out the words later.

            Above and beyond the fact it was a crap record and the singer was no way a fit for the band, what's with the fucking production on the record? It's the worst I can remember hearing on a release by a major artist.

                For me VH III was a good album BUT not for CVH or a Van Hagar fan and as an Extreme fan I like it a lot.
