Which brings up my opinion once again that I truly believe Sam WILL NOT be inducted along with CVH.

I don't care how many albums Van Hagar sold -- they WERE NOT influential, ground-breaking and made absolutely NO contribution to rock n roll.

All those things describe CVH
(an example is Ed's ground-breaking guitar work on the six pack, NOT what came afterward -- he didn't win guitar player of the year repeatedly from 78-84 for nothing).

Oddly enough, the industry gave Jefferson Airplane the nod in 1996. The Starship version, while more commercially sucksessful, wasn't plopped.

The industry should leave roy out for the same reason they disregarded Mickey Thomas. He sings like a cat getting probed at a mink coat factory.

Well, by the time Mickey Thomas got to "Starship" there wasn't much "Jefferson" left in it anyway. The early Jefferson Starship had at least three of the original members involved (Grace, Paul, and Marty).

Heard Grace Slick interviewed on the radio a few months ago and she was happy that "We Built this Shitty" was voted the lamest song of all time, or whatever it was. And she agreed that the song was lame. It's too bad that a quasi-veteran rock band was ever forced into recording that type of shit in the first place.

There's alot of licensing hoopla when you get into Jefferson Starship v/s Starship. It's a fitting clusterfuck. Marty Balin got his ass kicked @ Altamont. LMFAO.

Starship was the rorsach test...look at the timeline. Fucking industry baby.

van hagar arguably beat Aerosmith to the punch. No, they DID beat Aerosmith to the punch.

Hall of Fame?
I don't think it matters to me at this point.
It's a Hall of Shame VH weren't induced in the earlier days and nominations/candidates are just certain people's opinions.

The album of the photo in my profile can be induced in the Hall of Fame for all I'd notice.
