Sam is (once again) trying to F up any chance of the original four getting together because he knows that if it happens it will be the final nail in his fat assed coffin.

It will once and forever more trounce his BS and lies, cement VH into the R&RHOF fronted by Dave's smiling mug and expose him as the 2nd banana wanna be jealous footnote that he is.

Michael Anthony recently completed a tour with Sammy Hagar as THE OTHER HALF. In addition to Anthony and Hagar, THE OTHER HALF includes WABORITAS guitarist Vic Johnson and drummer David Lauser. Hagar recently told Launch that Michael Anthony has been liberated by this move, and he also said THE OTHER HALF is better than VAN HALEN right now. "He's kinda been chopped up over the years, you know, so now we took all those pieces that have been chopped up from different tours and put 'em all together, and he does this awesome bass solo," Sammy said. "And then we bust into about 10-12 VAN HALEN songs. For the hardcores that gotta have it, we're gonna give you THE OTHER HALF's version, which is basically closer to the record than (laughs) what the last VAN HALEN tour was, unfortunately."

If your going to quote at least get it fucking right. Hagar said The Other Half was better than VH not Anthony. In so far as they don't have to deal with a tool of a human being that EVH is he is probably right

If trash talking each other is gonna stand in the way of a reunion, then it's pretty well fucked that Roth is gonna front the band. Dave has been putting the screws to those guys...ALL of them...for years in the press. So I doubt Mike bitching about the 2004 tour is gonna be the deciding factor as to if he rejoins the hypothetical 2007 CVH tour.

And yes, Mike would have to be an idiot to be invited to do said tour and take a pass on it to hang out with Hagar, agreed.

The funniest part of the whole release was when Mike said he asked Sam's management to keep him in the loop about when gigs were booked...wow. It's like Mike isn't even considered important by Hagar's fuckin' management, and Hagar is the one person left who has played in Van Halen that still wants Anthony around!!

Mike better not hope Eddie read that release. The Van Halens will end up offering him a thousand a night for playing bass on a CVH reunion tour if they figure he has to ASK Sam to keep him posted on when the Other Half's gigs are.
