Kilmer recently on stage at Whisky a Go Go

Val Kilmer suprised fans and attending media by fronting The Doors (the original members) yesterday on November 8th, 2006 at the famous Whisky a Go Go in LA. Kilmer has lost the weight, and the response was exponentially positive.

Kilmer is a brilliant actor. Tombstone, The Salton Sea, Real Genius, The Doors, and more recently Kiss Kiss Bang Bang all evidence his depth and significant ability. If anyone can get Diamond Dave right, it is Val Kilmer.

I heard about this on www.hardradio.com. Here's what it said:CHRISTOPHER WALKEN has agreed to play OZZY OSBOURNE in Motley Crue movie of The Dirt. Vince Neil recently said that the 63-year-old Oscar-winning actor will make a cameo appearance as Osbourne in The Dirt, a movie based on the band's controversial 2001 autobiography. "How funny is that going to be," said Neil at the Opening of Vince Neil Ink, the singer's new tattoo parlor in Las Vegas. The film, announced in April, is now in preproduction and is expected to be released in 2008 by Paramount and MTV. It's been billed as a true-life version of "This Is Spinal Tap." Neil says that other stars are going to appear in the film as rock stars, including Val Kilmer as DAVID LEE ROTH. "We're doing big, giant cameos with those people."

but 2 things went against him...

1. He chose the wrong movies after a certain point in his career...

2. He was a prick to work with for a good bit of time.

and don't forget, he played Elvis as well...
