I just checked the german music-press...rock-mags, guitar-mags, german rolling stone-mag...there was absolutely NOTHING...nada, rien, nichts, niente...about this smash hit "reunion" and the upcoming tour or BOII...

is there anything in the press in england, france, australia...scandinavia...wherever you mofos live?

I think it's kind of idiotic if there wasn't any mention of the Van Halen/Sammy Hagar reunion tour since this a legendary rock band!

A Swedish tv station Z-TV reported that there was a US reunion tour with former singer Sam and NOT the original line up. Otherwise it does not get that much or any attention probably cause they are not coming to Scandinavia. But I think it was kind of cute that they bothered to make a point of the fact that it was not the original line up.

There's hardly anything HERE about it! Other than the radio stations located in towns where Van Hagar will play, I seriously doubt anyone's gonna take the time to put out anything about it. It's not worth mentioning or writing about.

And even on the radio stations here, it's just commercials advertising the show and very little chatter from DJ's about it. I have yet to hear someone talk about Van Hagar in a context other than advertising when the shows are. And the DJ's don't even sound excited about it.

This really is the most POINTLESS "reunion" of all time. A "reunion" that's not even the original band. I've never heard of such a thing, until now.

the mostly read metal magazin "metal hammer" had it's title storys about the priest and maiden reunions (which definitaly ARE REAL reunions) !!! priest-story was last month...full band-history, interviews, tons of fotos...and this month...not even a oneliner in the "newsflash" - section about van hagar...I guess that's what you call "irrelevant"...

All this tour is gonna attract is die-hard Ed fans. Though I find it very, VERY hard to believe that even the Ed fans don't concede that Ed will be playing inferior music.

I don't fucking care how great the guitarist is, I will not pay to listen to inferior music.

I live in Toronto and there hasnt been much...There coming here in July and only like local music stations will say how they reunited and shit like that, but nothing that big

Only things I've seen here in the UK was in a couple of mags, but I can't remember which ones I saw it in.

I haven't seen anything in Danish or Finnish mags...besides, the press is more interested in Idols and Popstars than any real music or bands like BFKAVH...
