If things continue in the same vein, none of these shows are going to sellout. In fact the first signs of downsizing are apparent.

Will the Spamsters finally admit that the best way for Van Halen to go out, would have been in a blaze of glory in their original form ?

Some must see the real figures, Van Halen outsold Van Hagar 3-1.
Every Van Hagar release sold proportinally less than the previous release. They were on the ropes. Every Van Halen release with Dave has been sucessful. Wanna compare Van Halens last album with Van Hagar's last album ?? So they are going to pick up where they left off, on the downward spiral.

You dont need to be einstein to figure out the real reunion would have been the crowning glory and a huge commercial success.

Any of you Spamsters got the guts to admit this is not the spectactular it could have been ??

Surely even you hardcore Hagar Heads would prefer to see EVH go out in an absolute triumphant tour. Hagar has not given him this. I think its about time you guys swallowed your pride and admitted it shoulda been Dave..

They'll never admit it. I can admit Dave can't sell his solo projects anymore(due mostly to the fact that real rock music doesnt really sell anymore, and Dave being on a shit label). Van Hagar could be pulling 5,000 fans a night, and the Spamsters would call it a huge success. When we all know the REAL story is it's tanking, and with Dave at the helm(and the real VH reunited) they would sell out every single arena date easily and maybe could do some stadiums.

Here we go with the #'s and sales figures again.
Yes!! VH with Dave sold more than VH with Sammy BUT VH with Sammy has sold way more than Dave solo AND even VH with Gary sold more than the last couple Dave CDs combined.
Finally, even Sammy's last 4 CDs since leaving VH have sold more than Dave's recent solo CDs.

Here's my point... even if Dave would have never left VH CD sales would have declined.
WHY? Because the music industry has changed.
People want Dave with VH because they remember how it used to be but if they saw Dave the way he is now fronting VH it would be a huge disappointment.

People would go see that show and I'm sure it would sell out faster than the new tour BUT it would be a HUGE disappointment. VH might be able to go back to 1995 but to go back to 1984 would be quite a long journey.

Hina is out of the building and running to catch the troops.

Doesn't matter, though. Spam couldn't even make it through the entire Roth tour without falling apart and calling shows. No way he can do it better 2 years later. And Edwina and Alice? LMAO!!! They'll either fall apart after 5 weeks or they'll all hate each other, or the shrinks will get in the way...

Hell yeah, it should have been with Dave. I'm not a hardcore Hagar Head by any stretch (more like a casual fan) but you'd have to be incredibly blind not to realize VH should go out with who they started with.

That's a no brainer. If VH continues to put out compilation albums that have the same material as previous compilation albums, they deserve all the failure they get for being that stupid.

And if they are going to jerk around their fans, they deserve their tours to flop. Fuck 'em. I'm certainly not buying their album.
