AS cool as reunion might be, I don't see it as having any long term potential. Then what? When will Ed let go of Van Halen and try to revive himself as a guitarist? IF its all about the music as has said repeatedly, why is he fighting one battle after another to work under "Van Halen" banner? Work as a solo artist or put together a different project. Whatever. Steve Vai is really the model for all opf the possibilities. Start a Label. Go solo. Do one off projects. There are a hundred different ways he could be getting music out there but instead we get a lot of time wasted.
When will Ed let it go?

When I saw them in Winnipeg, he seemed happy. He talked to the crowd a lot as did Sammy.
If this is going to be a one-off thing like 2004, don't bother.
If they realize they can't work together for period of time then don't do it. Don't tour without a new album either.Comment
