A far more important part of Van Halen than Mike Anthony was, IMO, but Dave isn't even close to the whole ball of wax far as comprising CVH goes.

Yes, Mike is friends with Hagar, but he should still be there when Dave and the sisters hit the road.

I will agree that I can't imagine a reunited CVH now sounding all that much better than what Roth has been doing solo-wise live these days. I was thinking the same thing last time I saw Dave at the Hard Rock this summer. His live band COOKS! And there's no 15 minute guitar solos, or drum solos or bass solos distracting and eating up concert time that could be put to better use playing more songs, either. I've heard what Sped did in 2004, and it was pretty subpar.

And not only does Anthony need to be there, but this needs to be an actual reunion with the resumption of the band and not just some one-off, toss-off cash grab tour, or else just don't fukking bother man...

I would really love to see Dave with Eddie, as i've never gotten to see them with Dave. Dave and VH with wolfgang on bass, as much as it suck there is no mike, I think will bring a comeback for Van Halen that will make Aerosmith wish they hadn't soldout boys.

Dave, c'mon man, get up there and sing for us man. This is what we've all been waiting for since '86, except the untimely departure of Mike, but honestly, that will only affect the' band so much. If i had to choose between Mike and Dave, i choose Dave.

Plus, like someone mentioned above, butchering all those Dave era songs for Spammy's pleasure, did not help his cause either. The seemingly innocent Micheal Anthony choose a side we'd thought he'd never choose, but he did.

I want a fucking album btw, way way way more then a tour. And not just any album, i want it to be the best Van Halen album ever, for real.

What was he supose to do wait for Eddie to get sane? If you worked to a company for 25 years that just shut down for a few years and you went to work for a competitor for a few months because you were board you would not be pissed if your original company, which was your lifes work, would not hire you back. Fucking bullshit. Eddie is a jealous prick and he has lead guitarist disease.

I'd have to imagine Anthony must have some resentment at being shut out of Van Halen after all those years of loyalty, but then again who really knows with 100% certainty WHAT really went down with all of those guys over the years on a personal level? Even the business dealings are kinda hazy...
