Just read that Michael Anthony is starting a band with Sammy Hagar and the drummer from the Chili Peppers. They call themselves Chickenfoot. Yet more affirmation that EVH has no intention of reuniting with Anthony. I coulda swore that in one interview Hagar elluded to EVH was not only planning on having the Wolfkid play bass but he was going to sing too? Ughh. I wrote this whole thing off a few years ago and thought to give it another shot. But all this hush hush about Dave has me saying this is just more bs.
I think since the early 2000's VH has had to have lost about 30% of its CVH fan base due to its inept communication abilities with their fans. They seem to think that if they were to gear back up with Dave in 2015 that it'd be instant sell outs. I don't think that's true anymore. I don't see as many people caring.
I think EVH should replace Alex next. He could outfit himself like one of those one man bands with the bass drum on his back and a harmonica in his mouth.Anyone remember those pompus t-shirts at the CheronVH shows? The ones saying "Who the F*&K is EVH" or something like that. You'd think he was the guy who split the atom.
