Hold on a second....are you some assfuck from the Links??
Nope. I've never been to the "links". I'm just a jaded VH fan that is hoping this reunion thing is real. Pretty much like the rest of you. The photo kicks ass by the way.
...except for the portion of Dave's hair that is sucking the brains out of Eddie and pulling the poor guitarist backwards. Dave already has a stanglehold on bass player. Alex sees what is happening and is desperately trying to find a crucifix that will subdue the evil Dave.

Make it count.
In depth? Ok.
Body language says a lot. Of course when a photography session is going on people are directed to do things like look out of the shot. So, Alex is probably posing as being directed. Especially after the problems we heard about with teaching him a simple dance routine for "Hot for Teacher".
Michael's face says "Hi there" to me. Almost independently, like he feels a little on the outside of it all. Dave draping his arms around Michael looks like he's reassuring Michael that he's included. Michael also has the hand closest to the rest of the band in his pocket which is a closing off of himself from the others.
However, Edward is making a profound statement. He's taking a "here I am" pose. Even his elevated eyebrows look like he's expecting something from the gesture.
Of all the muscles in the body that can be utilized, the face is the place where we get immediate emotions and projection of thought. We're not mind-readers but sometimes we get the best clues as to what someone is thinking through the reactions and how their faces change with their thoughts.
