Could the sudden name change be for legal reasons?

I was just wondering if the sudden name change and possible song change up had anything to do with all the legal stuff between Dave and van hagar....and if its called the best of both worlds does' nt it prove that VAN HALEN AND van hagar are two different bands :D just a thought.
