Van Halen come to Baghdad

I am a long time reader of this site but this is my first post. I am currently in sunny Baghdad at FOB Falcon. You may have seen us on the news when our ammo dump was blown up in October. If not go to You Tube and look up FOB Falcon. Well my dream would be to have CVH come play for us here. Unlike the other fine location around this area we never get any good USO shows. Kid Rock came by but did not play a note. Things are very crazy around here and it looks like we may be stuck here longerthan we thought.
I am 31 years old and am a huge CVH fan. When I was on leave in November I had the chance to see Mr. David Lee Roth in Tacoma. It was one of the highlights of my trip back to the world. It cheered meup when I was feeling so bad about having to come back here to this shit hole that I now live. I say shit hole do to the fact that my bed it where an old toilet use to be lol. Well thats's life ya know. I hope all of this is true about them getting back together. I hope I don't get extended and am able to see the show. And most of all I wish they would come play for the soldiers. we sure can use the break. One break coming up?

Well I doubt EVH would ever consider bringing the band over there. Maybe Bassplayer could be shipped to the front line and stun the insurgents with one of his mindnumbing solo's!

If Eddie ever grew the balls to play in Iraq, Dave would have to come up with the stealth mission of getting in and out, of a war torn country all the while parting his ass off. Of course, keeping in mind that this rock n roll shenanigans is all for the troops. It sounds very messy. Much like the group as it has existed since 1985.

And yes I lack sleep . I have not slept a good night in 7 months. And dreaming even if it is daydreaming keeps me going. So a little hope never hurt a soul. No disrespect intended just a thought.
