Every time i see the man play it gets better and better and he essentially has the same setlist time after time. I would pay any amount to see him play live. Forget Ed, Byoung is the shit and lomenzo along w/ luzier i think are his best band.

Bullshit. Dave and Ed need to be together and with the exception of the 2004 tour, there is no way that the band in those videos is better than VH live. Nobody was better than VH live. Even on the Cherone tour the band was tight as hell.

Dave will go on as the Legend he created for himself. His humor and character and brilliance was the driving force of VH - so apparent in these videos of his stellar performances.

Take that away and you have some talented musicians WITHOUT a leader or a direction on stage and in life ???

I still hope that EVH would fulfill Wolfie's dream of getting the ROTH-era back on the road.

I assume now that EVH is out of rehab, they have to go back to the drawing board, get a plan together and try to sell themselves to another Tour Promoter or go back to Live Nation with something viable....I think EVH needs incentive to stay clean and this would be the ticket.

One would like to think that if CVH were to play live, they'd show us what all the hubbub was about in the first place, but Dave's live band of the last 4 years or so knocked those tunes right out of the park, night after night.
