Mike played a Jack Daniel's bass.

Wolfie will play a Hostes Twinkies bass.
No! You can't have the keys to the wine cellar!

Look, here's the bottom line: Wolfie could be the greatest bassist ever to walk the earth and it still wouldn't matter cos it ain't the original four, and consequently the chemistry won't be the same. Wolfie hasn't lived it, you know?

Having said that, I've no doubt he'll be more than competant, the fact he's there shouldn't spoil this tour, it'll still be great to see Ed and Dave together.

It's a bit like Xmas with a sibbling who couldn't make it home: everyone still has a good time, but it's just not quite like it used to be.

Its the Bass not exactly the most important part of any song, it does play its part. Was in the studio other night with this band, just the vocal, Gtr, Drums. "Hey guys this sounds great" forgot there was'nt even a bass player there. He was the nicest to the fans, very cool I did meet him, the most unimportant members always are, RE: jason Newsted etc.al Get over mIke not being there, this band was fucked April 01 1985. Has'nt Dave been very critical of his bass playing? and his overall stage pose, that Dave put together. Maybe they can recapture some of the glory hope they can,.

it seems to me that he is being brought up as the musician he is named after was. Mozart was a young (very young age 5 I believe) boy when he was considered a musical genius (realized by his father, an accomplished musician & composer). He was playing with accomplished musicians (not R&R - structured classical) , was performing for kings, and writing symphonies when he was age 7. For all we know Wolfe could be as good, if not better than Ed himself, we shall see (he has the dna).

CVH wasn't well known, or considered "rock stars" when they first started out, but we all saw the potential early on. and from what I read on these forums from day to day, that was some of the best music they produced.

Chill my fellow VH fans, I think we will all be pleasantly surprised.
                          Anything left in that bottle?

Looks like he's having a hell of a lot of fun. Isn't that what it's about? Ed forgot that.
