I have nothing against Brett and he puts a lot of his time into running that site. But his whole not acknowledging the political thing is really a tad silly. People there just use the "Non" section to discuss politics, but the minute you piss someone off a Mod yells to stop discussing politics. They should either start a politics forum, or completely ban any of those right wing dopes over there from starting their fetish threads...

I think I know the mentality. Most people out there want to avoid the issues, think life can carry on. no probs as their liberties are disappearing fast. A lot of liberals are guilty of this, in addition to the right wing.

My last years' registration there was the same as in 2002 or so, it lasted about 20 posts before Brett's Merry Band of Pussies banned me from posting.

But that's fine by me: I don't get along well with the Redheaded kids in the VH class.. to get along perfectly fine, you have to accept Sammy like the rest of the LGBT crowd who post there, don't say anything critical about Eddie, do not say things like "Dave or the Grave" and be equally accepting of any Sam-Mike musical abberation such as:

I think this is quite a common occurence in fan groups. I've seen splinter groups start in the Iron Maiden base. This happens a lot in Duran Duran groups. I was on a Duran forum, well three different groups, got banned from them all, started my own and it's still running. We take a completely troll like approach to running the place. We're almost entirely critical of the band the whole time. Something that rarely happens on a board dedicated to the band. Ironically there was a second board doing the same thing and I got banned from there for saying the people there were ugly and shallow: which they were.

Hagar has two or three good songs but so do The Muppets, so whatever he has to do with Van Halen is puppetry at the least and minimal at best.
