Ya think we might finally see a Behind the Music now?

    You think this might happen?

I know most of us wouldn't learn much, if anything, from a program such as this but it would still be fun to see.

    A "real" BTM ???

Or a scrubbed and slanted spED version?

I can't see him being involved in anything that doesn't make him and ALice look like innocent victims, and those damn singers fucked everything up.

How can you tell if Deadwood is Lying?

His lips and half-tongue are moving.

Yeah, you're right. I should've thought about it more. There's no way Ed's going to want to do a he-said-he-said show about the past.

        I'd be cool.....

ANd the most watched episode in VH1 history..........

BUt...EVH isn't gonna step up to the mike...no pun intended...and surely isn't gonna let Bass Player...let alone the Ched rocker take a turn at roasting him......

And DAVE would steal the show...as always.....

I personally have always wanted to see them attempt an Unplugged type concert. Too bad MTV ruined that show, they definately jumped the shark after having Rap music on Unplugged.

It would be nice, but like Lounge says it'd be a complete piece of propaganda....

Might get some unseen footage on it though...

Van Halen were not meant to play unplugged.

It would be really awesome to see. The only problem is having to see the Van Hagar "era."

                    Meh.

An hour long BTM would be a rush to get all of it in, and a two hour one would have way too much Van Hagar shit in it.

This SITE is a running BTM, IMO.

I would love it!! Make it 2 hours long like the Aerosmith episode was. I worship that show...

Unfortunately the BTM is currently out of production with no new episodes planned.

                      Later,

Whoa a behind the music with VH? Sounds a bit nostalgic. And even the hint that VH is nostalgic could send Eddie into rampand girly hissy-fit that could lead to self-destructive binge drinking. We want ol Ed to feel the love, the confidence that he never let the fans down. We want Eddie in the proper state of mind for this VH mk Ib show. And if there is to be a breakdown, we want it to be onstage where someone will film it and put it on youtube. Its all about the entertainment here and nothing is more fun than someone losing thier sence of humor.

I'd like to see them do a "Rock Honors" type of show and who knows, maybe Ed is finally (and finacialy) willing to look into their past:

I'd like to see something produced by The History Channel. BTBYP (Behind The Backyard Parties): The Birth Of Van Halen.

They could do a three part retrospective that features alot of hearsay. Their treatment (The History Channel) of imagined stuff would be priceless.

Think dream-sequences of a typical backyard picnic table. Then, they re-enact how some drunk bitch threw a punch bowl full of onion dip at Ed from the same weather'd table!

The natural progression would cover Al paying for the public address equipment with loose change, and Steve Lukather laying down in a mud puddle.

                            Riveting.
