Well hats off to the promoters and sponsers taking a chance on this possible train wreck. They have to be sitting on pins and needles. It also cracks me up that no one is saying the same thing about the Police tour. Sting and Copeland had a pretty volatile relationship too. In the end it comes down to the green backs and both bands are going to be rolling in it if they can keep their differences aside long enough to keep their fans happy. I am optimistic about VH, the DLR era VH is still my favorite band in the world. Really pissed about Mike not being along for the ride but the hell with it, I really wanna see Ed and Dave playing the songs I grew up with again. I have been telling my friends and people at work about the tour and the current bassplayer situation and the average person really doesn't even know who Anthony is. This is a definite problem for the hard core VH fans but there will be many who just come to the shows to see DLR and Ed perform and have a good time. When was the last time a summer tour generated such excitment. Sorry but some fucking Rap/Hip hop tour or Madonna never cut it. After 22 years of BOY bands, MNM, RAP, Van Hagar, Rap Metal and pretty little female singers who lipsinc, the two Gods of the Hard Rock party band era are about to rise from the ashes and reclaim their throne. Please don't fail us gentlemen.

The thing with Dave's interviews is not to read too much into them. He can have you second guessing shit in a second, but if you sit back and just let the words filter in you can understand what he's saying.

That's also the problem with Dave too though. His "mind game" interviews are good and it's what makes him be "Diamond Dave", but he has to lose that goofy fuckin' grin and song and dance show. He needs to go back to his club days attitude and lose the homo smile.

for you guys in the US at least there radio stations are advertising that CVH is alive and well and dave and sped are working together.I live in Sydney, Australia and there is not one fuckin thing either on the radio or in the media about van halen!
